Pennsylvania Fashion Design Schools

The world of fashion is always changing and evolving. Starting a career in fashion design involves earning a degree in fashion design from a Pennsylvania school. There are 11 schools in Pennsylvania with fashion design programs, including colleges, universities, and community colleges. On top of Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees, there are seven schools that offer graduate-level coursework in fashion design. The average tuition cost in Pennsylvania is $23,030. The first step of your education involves deciding whether you want to earn an Associate’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree. An Associate’s degree includes 60 credits and takes about two years, while a Bachelor’s degree includes about 120 credits and takes four years. Coursework involved in a Bachelor’s degree includes Fashion Behavior, Fashion Analysis, and Fashion Design for Industry. A Master’s degree in fashion design involves learning more about international fashion and the factors that influence the fashion industry. To complete a Master’s degree in fashion design, you need to complete 30 credits. This takes about two years.
